MTC 004: Karl "Gus" Gustavson | How Navy SEALs Embrace Adversity

My friend Karl "Gus" Gustavson is a former missionary and Retired Navy SEAL with 22 years of service and 15 deployments. He currently serves as the Director of Operations for Community First Project, a non-profit that utilizes retired tier one special operators to train law enforcement to respond to high-risk, active shooter type situations.

In this week’s conversation, Gus and I discuss the value of continuous learning and skill acquisition, the significance of consistency over motivation in achieving personal and professional goals, how to prepare for high-pressure situations, and the value of building a supportive network during career transitions.

 to better navigate life's challenges.
